The SET SUBJECT for the November ZOOM

 “Focus Created by Tone”

Tone refers to the lightness or darkness of a colour. The highest contrast between light and dark in a painting creates the focal point.

Interpretation: Apply this concept to any category (scapes, figures, animals, still life, floral, abstract, etc.). Use tonal contrasts to draw the viewer’s eye to a specific focal point, guiding their attention and creating a compelling visual narrative.
