Aim:    To introduce participants to the various tips and techniques for painting feathers, beaks, suitable backgrounds, etc which will enable them to paint realistic birds in pastels.  The workshop is suitable for participants with some prior knowledge of pastels.

Outcome:  At the end of the workshop participants will have acquired some knowledge of bird art techniques using pastels and will have completed a small pastel painting from the reference provided.  They will have an informative and enjoyable art experience
