The Pastel Society of Australia thrives thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. From organising events to supporting exhibitions and managing day-to-day operations, volunteers play a vital role in keeping our society running smoothly.
We have many opportunities available for members who want to contribute their skills and make a difference. Whether you can give a few hours a month or take on a more significant role, there’s a place for you in our vibrant community!
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Here are some of the roles we’re looking to fill:
Leadership Roles
Vice President – Help lead our society and support the President.
Newsletter Editor – Oversee the creation and distribution of our monthly newsletter.
Public Officer – Serve as our official point of contact for legal and administrative matters.
Meeting & Workshop Support
Workshop Supervisors – Gold Coast position available.
Meeting Demonstration Coordinators – Assist with organising demonstrations in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast.
Audio Visual Coordinators – Sunshine Coast position available.
Exhibitions & Events
Exhibition Coordinator – Lead the organisation of exhibitions and coordinate with teams.
Exhibitions Team Members – Join a team supporting exhibitions and events.
Community Engagement
Social Media Coordinator – Assist in creating engaging content for our platforms.
Sponsor Liaison Officer – Help manage relationships with our sponsors.
BVAC Representative – Represent PSA at Brisbane Visual Arts Community (BVAC) meetings.
Specialised Roles
Zoom Meetings Facilitator – Provide backup support for hosting Zoom sessions.
Online Exhibitions and Meetings Images Coordinator – Collect and manage images for online use.
