A true master of the medium Cuong Nguyen zoomed in to Expo to demonstrate how he layers colours to create beautiful, rich skin tones using Carbothelleo pastel pencils and Sennelier la Carte pastel card. All you need is practice, a light touch, patience and an impressive pencil sharpener!

2022 Pastel Expo

The Pastel Society of Australia returned to the Event Centre Caloundra from August 31 to September 4, 2022 to hold the Australian Pastel Expo! It is the nation's only event for pastel enthusiasts with four huge days of workshops, demonstrations, plein air painting, special events and more.
