Mako Waki is an accomplished artist based in south-east Queensland, Australia. She actively teaches art classes through the Logan Artists Association, covering a diverse range of mediums such as acrylics, oils, watercolour, pastels, pen and ink, mixed media, and coloured pencils. Mako’s competence in pastel artwork was recognised with the award of Master Pastellist status with the Pastel Society of Australia and as well as her own rich art practice, she readily shares her knowledge and techniques in pastel and other mediums with people of all skill levels, providing an encouraging environment for both beginners and seasoned artists.
