Born in 1977, David Wells is an eclectic artist, having worked as a street and circus performer, children's entertainer, musician, photographer, graphic and web designer and visual artist.

He has exhibited extensively, and received over 30 awards for his art, which is held in public and private collections in Australia and internationally.

His work has been regularly published in international journals, including “Art Investment” (Hong Kong) “Harpers Bazaar” (Hong Kong) and has featured on the cover of both “The Artists Magazine” (USA, 2009) and “The Pastel Journal.” (USA, 2009 and 2014)

In 2014 his portrait of Her Royal Highness Catherine, Princess of Wales (then Duchess of Cambridge) was accepted as a gift by the royal family and now hangs in the Royal Collection.
