  • Entry form and fees in by 31st July - online, by mail or by hand
  • Pre-selection of hanging exhibition announced 9th August
  • Exhibit delivery by freight by 19th August to 168 King St., Clontarf, Qld 4019
  • Exhibit delivery in person: 11am - 2pm, Wednesday 31st August to Event Centre, 20 Minchinton Street, Caloundra
  • Presentation of Awards Gala Dinner: Saturday evening 3rd September at the RSL Caloundra.  Tickets are available on the EXPO website: Please follow this link: australianpastelexpo.com.au 
  • Close of Exhibition/Collection of works: Sunday 4th September  1- 4.30pm

  5. Alexandra Award for PSA MEMBERS ONLY who have never won a first prize award in any competition (PSA or other) with a pastel painting.

Subject for the Alexandra Award is "Harmony"

PSA members

  • Up to a maximum of 3 paintings
  • Only 1 painting per category
  • $25 entry fee per painting

Non-PSA members

  • Only 1 painting may be submitted
  • No entry in the Alexandra Awards
  • $60 entry fee 

Painting images must be submitted online only. File type, JPEG. File size max, 1mb. The file must include all the details in this order:  Name of artist, title of painting, size of painting.

Artwork must be clearly labelled on the back with Title, Artist’s Name, Category, Price and a Contact Number.

D-Hooks (Rounded NOT Triangular) must be fitted on the back of the frame.  For specific instruction on how to fit the D-Hooks please read the Conditions of Entry.

Return of work:  

  1. Personal Pick-up OR
  2. Prepaid Courier arranged by you (please include the labels!)
  3. We charge a small amount of $10 for the repacking of your painting which must be included in your payment when paying for your entries.

The judge for the Annual Awards and Alexandra Awards is Tony Allain.
